If you have some time to kill…

If you’re feeling bored/ambitious [or just feel like multi-tasking]:
- I just went through & updated my links page. There’s three sections: archives, interesting & fun.
- Check out my shared items in Google reader. There’s a lot of great stuff & most of it doesn’t make it to this blog. Follow me, so I can follow you back!
- There’s always my friends’ blogs listed on the side of the page
- Plus, there’s Twitter

This is beautiful:
math + nature = found functions

This video is amazing. It’s of Owen Pallett [formerly Final Fantasy] performing at Hillside Festival. His energy is amazing. Part way through the song it gets windy & rainy &, as the crew rushes around the stage, he insists on finishing the song. There’s violin & it’s epic & I love it.

& with that,
goodnight.

Something short for a long day

Although Facebook tries to target the advertising you see, they’re doing a really bad job at it, at least in my case:

I haven’t the slightest interest in Uggs, having a baby or joining a Sorority [even though I am a "pretty lady"].
Thanks Facebook, but no thanks.

How is tomorrow Friday?
I think I’ve slept about 20 of the past 36 hours. Hibernation!!

There was a really great article in the New Yorker called Are archivists today’s real peacemakers?

The National Archives & Records Administration [NARA] recently put a large collection of their photos on Flickr. My favorite is the Ansel Adams set.

My friend Annie [of Thriftfulness, a blog about awesome gifts on the cheap] has created a season call Pring. Beginning earlier this week Pring, or pre-Spring, is the unofficial season of the Midwest that helps make the winter feel less long.

So, in honor of Pring, here’s what I’m dreaming of today – tattoos & bike rides:

Now, coffee & class.
