Wow. Time change. Everyone seems pretty slow this morning.
Trying to learn XML at 8:30 on a Monday morning is tough.
I had a pretty nice weekend.
Friday we watched our friends Secret Twins [an awesome band who was just signed to Quack Media] play at the Elbow Room with the equally awesome Ghost Lady.
Saturday we had about 15 friends over & had a lot of fun. I made some wonderfully delicious cookies - chocolate coffee cookie sandwiches with a mint crème filling. They were SO GOOD. Soon I want to try this super simple “one-minute” ciabatta bread recipe.
My good friend Libby recently opened up an Etsy shop. She makes amazing necklaces from pieces of jewelry she picks up at at thrift stores, estate sales & her family’s jewerly box. This piece is one of my favorites:

I went & grabbed a coffee during one of my breaks in class today. Normally when I buy not-so-good coffee, I put some cream & cinnamon in it. Today, in my sleepy haze, I put nutmeg in it. Bummer. I’ll have to make up for it this afternoon before my night class with something delicious.
